Hey all,

I need to drop off for a few days Sad  All geared up and heading for my 1st comp in the AM Shocked  Ill try to take as many pics as possible.  You folks take good care of each other!  I know you will Wink  Thanks for all your support R~B!  Ill try not to come in DAL (dead @$$ last) Embarrassed LoL

The old Boats got a few tricks left up hes sleeve Cool  The big one will be the unveiling of Boats BBQ Buggy!!!!!!  Ya, Im talking BBQ land yacht   Shes a old 1986 27 Minnie Winnie in great shape I picked up on the cheap, rigged with generator and all, so me and the Mate could compete in class. Dont laugh too hard, but shes been tweaked to carry three Kegs in back and one on the front bumper!!!  Ya, picture that LoL

2nd, R~B Loaned me a demo BSK to round out the number of grill I needed to compete (huge thanks!) Grin Ive already cooked a butt roast on it just for a practice run.  It was smooth!  I plan to enter Keggers chicken wing recipe in a Friday night wing comp using the BSK for a second cook Im not scared  Kegger the pressures on Shocked  Then use the BSK throughout  the comp Cool  I  will post a review as soon as time permits (after I get drunk) LoL

Oh ya, Grilla will be there too!  Wish him luck!!!  I am

Ok all Im out!
Wish me Luck!

I just signed up for the comp in Lafayette next weekend. I'll be using the Bubba Keg for chicken. I'll post results in another thread.

Hey All!
Well we made it back from our 1st Pro Comp Cool

It was a lot of work, learning, stress and fun Grin  We hit the top 10 (8th) over all, with a 4th place call in ribs!!!! Heck Ya LoL  This is way better than I thought we would do against these pro teams  The KCBS rep even stopped by and told us he was very surprised a brand new team did this well against such a tough crowd Shocked  I hope it wasnt just beginners luck Huh

Here is a link to the pics we managed to get thanks to our friends.

Even got my pic in the Anderson, SC Paper too..

Id like to say thanks to a bunch of folks because I didnt do this all by myself!  Not even close... LOL

The First Mate!  She help in so many ways I cant even count them and could never come up with the right words to explain to you all shes done, or to thank her properly.

My best friends and boating neighbors Susan and Fernando for coming to help at the comp

Rick Bobby and all of you on this forum for helping to make me a better Kegger!

Great showing Boat! That's no small feat to place that well at any comp, let alone your first. Keep it up!
