Granny Smith Apples Cored. Into one a couple table spoons brown sugar and into the other a couple table spoons Ideal Brown BS substitute and a couple tablespoons butter into each. I put them into 9" store bought refrigerated pie crusts for two reasons. They were big apples and I'm not a talented pie crust maker. Sprinkle each with cinnamon.

I folded them up and made two simple syrups of 1/4 cup water and teaspoon vanilla and 1/4 cup sugar for one and 1/4 up splenda for the other. Topped them with the syrup and put them onto a 400 deg keg (diffused)

25 min later they were done

Sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon and vanilla ice cream

My wife has diabetes and rarely eats sweets.  She loved the sugar free one.
