I'm going to pose a question here to get an idea of potential participation. Since we keep talking about having a "Bubba Fest" and we haven't gone any further than that and that's no one's fault at all. I'm going to step up and present this idea so, please respond one way or the other. I'm not talking about something right away but, plans have to start somewhere.

Would you be interested in attending a Bubba Kegg Get Together? I'm going to start looking at a couple of venues thath I think would be where those that have campers can stay in them, there would be cabins and motel rooms available and an all round nice venue with a nice area for a competition type event. I have a place in mind but, I have to do some further research research. I realize the location would be a deal breaker on whether or not some could attend  but, it really is difficult to meat everyone needs or demands.

So, let's get some responses going and we'll see what this leads to.

They are closed minded idiots (did I just say that?? YEP!) and they can't see the usefulness of other types of cookers.

I purty much agree with the others saying location and time and along the same thing as time, is enough notice because Comp. season is starting up and I am already signed up to judge several comps. this summer and am actually going to compete in a few(only signed up for two right now ran out of money for entrance fee  Undecided).

I would recommend that it be done where most of you live
In the south east
Once you guys get it going it should catch on in the lower density areas

Seems like May 1st is about when OMC is launching the new kegs

Because they are so hush hush they might plan on making an announcement or would be open for a roadshow

Maybe they can help with demo models

IMHO
Unfortunately OMC is worse than the post Ricky Bobby InZone when it comes to communicating

They could have a real win-win if they worked with us
Plus most of us are itching to buy a second keg or get one for a relative or something
Guess we are good for about 500 kegs if we get excited
