Thanks for the kudo's gents...this has been fun with the throw downs as I try to think of what can be done on the keg.
I just wish I had grabbed a couple of those golden brown sopes before the guests scarfed 'em up. They would have looked better in that close up pic. Not that it would have mattered as I've been humbled by the beef wellington.

I guess the bag of Maza threw me for a loop since it says "harina" which literally means flour
Well, we are both right as the description on the back of the bag is "white corn flour."

I'll take two!

And give me an icy cold Modello.
This goes great with any smoked food:

Gotta love mesquite smoke infused beer

Hook - Those look amazing. I would have voted for them had I know what it was. I'm kind of green when it comes to some of this stuff. Your photos were great. Nice and clear and good colors. Dish looks like it tasted great.
If you can make this and ravioli you will not have much trouble with bread.
Very nice job.
Glad you have faith...but I have NEVER made bread. And as you can tell I go big or I don't go at all. So, I'm thinking I need to make some potato skins, beef wellington stuffed bread.

Nice cook, I can only imagine the layers of taste this dish had. BTW impressive cutlery, I think I saw a Shun & Global.
Yep...Shuns, Global and Henckels are part of my arsenal. Shuns are my favorite...Globals are the frugal version of Shuns...and Henckels are the workhorse. I have a place and use for each of 'em.
