This is my Tater throwdown entry.  These were great I will make these again for a party some time.  I saved the insides for double baked taters later that week.

Brushed with EVOO and salted then kegged some taters for 45-60 minute at 400 degrees indirect.

Packers won NFC championship right after taters where finished baking.

Prepped jalapenos, pulled pork, onions, cheddar cheese, bacon, and romano cheese

Potatoes cored out and insides brushed with EVOO

Kegged for 7-10 minutes at 475 direct

Load up with everything

Kegged again for 7-10 minutes at 475 direct

Plated

BBQ is all the same basic idea.  Throw some meat onto the fire, cover, get drunk, pass out, wake up and 14 hours later, eat.  This is not a highly refined art form.

"V" is for Victory. Great job, Vindii and great job on your photography. I sense that others will be upgrading their cameras before the Super Bowl!

Thanks for the comments everyone.  I picked these for a couple of reasons.  First is that they sounded really tasty which they were.  Second was that I thought they would look great in a photo with the different colors and such.  I was very happy with the result but I did not think I could win.  Too many great cook around here.  Very tough competition.

This was by no mean the hardest dish to make but I do think it takes the best picture which is a big part of these throwdowns since we cant taste the dishes.  If this was live and tasting was involved I dont know if this dish would have won.  It tasted very good but I think all those other dishes probably tasted very good too.

Great job to all.  I am very impressed with all the dishes.

Thanks for the recipe... I'm making these for the game this weekend, with some leftover pulled carnitas.
