What is with the boards search function?  I look for something under advanced search (one word, in a particular forum) and I get things unrelated in other forums.

BBQ is all the same basic idea.  Throw some meat onto the fire, cover, get drunk, pass out, wake up and 14 hours later, eat.  This is not a highly refined art form.

Try advance search "Search in topic subjects only" and you'll get better results.

Yeah that's what I was doing.  I think I figured out an alternative method.

Technically speaking I think the search is fubar'd Tongue

I agree it doesnt work right.

Is there a way to search for post by user name?  When I try it wants me to put something in the search for box.  Put a user name in there and you get all kind of goofy stuff.

They are closed minded idiots (did I just say that?? YEP!) and they can't see the usefulness of other types of cookers.

I put the * in the the search box.  It's used to suggest anything after or proceeding that matches which in this case should return everything.  Then you can enter a users name which hopefully pulls only posts they submitted.  Alternatively, you can look for their name in the member list and just click on all their last posts.  Smiley

Something isn't the same as before the crashes...not sure what the disconnect is but it's definitely different.
