The store had these on sale for $3lb, but I didn't want fajitas and had to figure something better to do with this 2 pound hunk of meat. I marinated it in the following concoction, for about 3 hours and then reduced the marinade to make a steak sauce.

Marinade:
1/4 cup Balsamic
1/4 cup red wine
2 tbsp Worchesterchire
1 minced garlic clove
1 tsp thyme

Cooked it 2,2,2,2 then wrapped in foil to rest for 5-10 mins.  While it was resting, I reduced the marinade in a saucepan, adding a small minced shallot (about 2 tbsp worth) and once reduced, added a couple tsp of butter.

We had keg baked yams too.

Now THAT looks good Scrappy! Sweet potatoes are becoming really popular with grillers. Never thought of splitting it and laying it directly over the heat. Get that good residual seasoning from the grates on it. Nice pink color. Awesome!

Well, if Scrappy won't care, I'll certainly second the motion! I could eat a couple of them taters right now without even trying hard.
