Keggers this is a winner

5 lb Beef Short Ribs (trimmed of silver skin)
Beef Rub
3 Tbls EVOO
2 Onions Sliced
6-8 Pieces of Bacon cut in 3/4" pieces
2 Cups Apple Juice
2 Cups Beef Broth
3 Tbls Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Head of Cabbage cut into 8 Wedges

I used two kegs one to sear the short ribs on the CI grate but you can brown the ribs in the dutch oven in EVOO - Remove browned ribs and set aside

EVOO in dutch oven add bacon and cook but do not crisp 3 min should do it
Add onion cook an additional 3 min
Place ribs back in dutch oven mix in with onion and bacon
add all liquids
Cover and let it simmer at 375-400 for 2 hours
Remove lid and add cabbage cover and cook another 30-40 min (check after 20 and push the cabbage down into the liquid)
When cabbage is tender you are ready to eat

Served with Potato Knishes with herbed sour cream dollop
Fresh crusty Italian bead

They are closed minded idiots (did I just say that?? YEP!) and they can't see the usefulness of other types of cookers.
