Took 12th place chicken of 27 teams but I can't blame it on the BSK.  It held a steady 400 degrees for the 50 minute cook.  I had some problems with my recipe/technique that were self inflicted.  Fortunately, my teammate came through with a first place ribs and third place brisket making us the Reserve Grand Champs.  He cooks on a Back Woods smoker.

Will practice and try again next month in Montague, TX.

A mid-pack score sounds a long way from a disaster!  I know what you mean, but if that's your bad you must be doing a lot right  Wink
