I figured with all the pork cooks lately, including myself, what would be wrong for a decadent dessert???

Chocolat/Almond Cobler cooked on the Keg and topped with Blue Bell Moo-llinneum Crunch ice cream.

Recipe as follows:
1. Get your vessels in order and make a batter. In one of them with 1 cup of Self Rising flour, 3/4 cup of sugar, 1 1/2 tsp of Hershey's coca powder, and 3/4  cup of heavy cream. A splash of water or two may be needed to get it like a thick pancake batter consistancy. Also have a vessel with 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of the same cocoa powder ready to go. Throw 1 stick of real un-salted butter in an oven safe vessel that is at least an 8x8 with 2.5" sides. AND, have a pot with 1.5 cups of water that you will bring to a boil.

Get the Keg steady at 350 with whatever you have for a heat diffuser(I used a BGE platesetter.) Then put the dish in there and let the butter melt.

When melted, dump the batter in right on top of it and don't stir. Then top with the sugar/cocoa mix to coat. Then pour in the boiling water.

Let it cook at 350 for about 45 minutes until it passes the poke with a toothpick test.

Allow to cool for about 5 minutes and then spoon a hunk out and top with the ice cream!

Damn that looks good.  Too bad I'm allergic to chocolate.  Before anyone pipes in with the "aw, too bad," it could've been worse, I could've been allergic to beer.  Then I'd be like Ranbeaux allergic to chicken.   Grin Grin
