So, I got to thinking where everyone is located and wondering where the strength in numbers are.  This lead to me playing around with some online interactive maps and wanted to give this a try.

If this works it would help with having local/area gatherings of fellow keggers.  Anyways, give it a try and let me know what you think.

General Directions
  • Click on map link:  http://www.zeemaps.com/keg_owners
  • Select Additions>Add Marker
  • Enter the following:  Entry Name (BKForum Screen Name), City, Country, State, Choose Marker.  You can enter more obviously but not necessary.

Couple Features:
You will see a double arrow >> icon on the left hand side.  If you click on it this will take you to the list of Keg Owners and you can easily find where any one is.

Also, if you want to get this in a list view you can go to View>Export CSV file.

BBQ is all the same basic idea.  Throw some meat onto the fire, cover, get drunk, pass out, wake up and 14 hours later, eat.  This is not a highly refined art form.

I have my location marked. I don't have my keg yet, it is in New Orleans thanks to a generous kegger who assisted in its acquisition. However, I went ahead and marked my spot... I noticed you had an egg before, which is what I currently cook on. In fact hearing you and Braddog discuss having both and your thoughts on each cooker assisted in my decision to get the keg. So thank...

There are some things I added for others to have access to.

You will see a double arrow >> icon.  If you click on it this will take you to the list of Keg Owners and you can easily find where any one is.

Also, if you want to get this in a list view you can go to View>Export CSV file.

Put Hawaii on the map. But maybe should have put Belgium since that is where I bought the keg? Oh well I didn't cook on it until I moved here.

It's a world map you can enter your location regardless of where.
