Smoking With Bubba in Celina, TX

« on: June 27, 2010, 11:18:41 AM »

Hopefully this will help anybody that's not familiar with how to direct link photos from a hosting site.
A hosting site is simply a place that you can store your photos on the web, then link to that photo and place it within your post.
There are many of these sites including Photobucket and ImageShack and are free to use.
First you must choose a hosting site. Create an account and upload your pictures to that site.

If all goes well, here is how the post we just created should appear. Grin

Here's a picture of my burnt ends using a direct link from ImageShack.

Here's a picture of my brisket using a direct link from PhotoBucket.

Excellent writeup, Porch!! That was smart to cover both image hosting sites.

Not only that, but the pics of the brisket and burnt ends are almost enough to convert me to thinkin' BBQ can be beef as well as pork-- ALMOST!!!

Just kiddin' of course. I'm gonna have to navigate uncharted waters one of these days and try a brisket on the Keg. Luckily, you guys are providing a pretty good compass.

Any tips on how to adjust the size of the picture?  In my posts the pictures are too large?  Huh
