Hey! liked both the stew and the chili!!!!! Might be too much though. I was going to make a shrimp and sausage gumbo but after thinking about it there's a lot of food to be eaten already. Besides I don't think anyone likes my cooking and would probably hate a bowl of gumbo.  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

I will forgo the stew. I just had the stuff to make it and thought I'd bring it but I'll just freeze the pork and make it another time. More for me Wink

Screw it, let's go for it.  Brunswick stew and authentic gumbo, too good to pass up.  I have some guests that would love to try both.  Plus the UMAi guests, lets show them what was going on last year.  No such thing as too much of a good thing.   Tongue Tongue Tongue

I think we'll have enough food so I'll pass on the stew. It'll be a waste, too much other stuff to eat, like you said.

reminds me of family reunions, everyone brings a side, how many people?  30.... so all the sides are big enough to feed 30.
30 people bringing 30 sides each big enough to feed 30 people.  Waaaaaay too much food.

I like the idea of a group in a restaurant.  "hey, this dessert sounds good let's try it."  We'll order a serving of one and pass it around the table, request a saucer for everyone, we'll take a spoonful, pass it on, split a serving for one amongst six people.  Just right.

Hard to do with entree style dishes, just as easy, (or easier), to make a bunch as it is to make a little.

We're firming up plans tonight for the menu, will probably add a couple of sides and maybe a dessert or two, but they will be smaller, just to add variety to the menu.  The dishes won't be big enough for a full serving each for 20 people, just a few bites each for 20 people to add to the experience.

My thought with the steel burgers was a double meat double cheese burger, quartered.  Just a couple of bites for a taste to add to the lunch and demonstrate the versatility of the keg and the custom accessories that BKK offers.   Also considered using the Ash Dragon firebowl divider I won last year with the custom half round steel Rich & BKK provided and a grill grate to demonstrate the multi heat zones the keg can do with accessories generously donated by sponsors last year and this year.  Thought about using those to make some Conecuh sausage bites and grilled shrimp for bite size samples or Bubba Mary's  for those needing a morning after hair of the dog.   Grin Grin

Can't wait, such a good relaxing time.

maybe we could all make a small dish of our signature items, not enough to feed everyone, just enough for samples.  Be a good thing to have a table of stuff to munch on Friday and Saturday around the campfire...

It looks like we have an opening for someone to pitch in for Saturday's Lunch in lieu of Bills not being able to make it this year. Anyone care to make something?

I'm wondering if the UMAI demo will be enough for lunch. Probably not.

My sister and her husband have Queen City hot brats with them and she's making a pasta salad and deviled eggs.
We can throw those in.
Can always do some burgers also if needed.

I like this idea, maybe Saturday lunch?  The Queen City hot metts can be quite hot for some.
