Hi there,
I picked up my keg a little over 5 weeks ago and have had a few "test" sessions to try and get temperature stabilization.  Almost have it figure a couple more attempts and I will have it done.
Looking forward to getting many years of enjoyment out of it working in conjunction with the electric smoker and the gas grill, here in Alberta things get kinda cold in the winter and the gas is easier to use (sorry). However the wife has been told that retirement means never seeing snow again!!
Anyways long forward to spending some time with you all and I will be grateful for any advice you could share!

Brentvl70 welcome post and ask away

Be sure to use lots of lump a few inches over the holes in the fire bowl it makes it easier to control - after you cook shut it down and next cook just stir the lump well and add some fresh.

Light in only one spot top middle for most cooks especially low and slow
