If I could pick one appetizer from anywhere to eat for dinner it would be Bonefish Grill's bang bang shrimp.  I have combined a couple of knock off recipes to create my own version of this popular dish.  I think it's pretty darn close to the real thing.

Bang Bang Shrimp Recipe

These are really good as shrimp tacos too.

1 lb shrimp (31-40 ct size), shelled and deveined
1/2 cup regular mayo ( I use dukes)
3 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce (Asian section of grocery)
1 tablespoon garlic chili sauce (Asian section of grocery)
3-4 drops of hot chili sauce (I omit this most of the time.  My wife hates any heat)
Seasoned flour (I use Kentucky kernel brand)
Buttermilk

1.  Mix mayo and sauces for coating.
2.  Briefly soak shrimp in buttermilk.
3.  Bread shrimp in seasoned flour.
4.  Fry the shrimp until lightly brown.  Takes about 3-4 minutes in my fry daddy.  Plan on 10-15 shrimp per batch if using a fry daddy.  I have to do 2-3 batches because my fry daddy is so small.
5.  Drain shrimp on paper towel.  Place shrimp in large tossing bowl and coat with the sauce.
6.  Serve in lettuce bowl and top with chopped green onions (optional)

Awesome job! I have heard a lot of good things about that shrimp. I really really want to go to Bonefish.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm wanting that purple sippy cup to hold my beverage.

Bills, I moved on from the machete. Too hard to conceal. Switch blade is my weapon of choice now. Don't worry, I'll leave it in the car at KF. I know...I'm getting soft in my old age.

I've heard that rumor too and I would like to know who started that so I can do really mean things to their appendages.
