Winter Springs, FL --- Light It Up

« on: January 10, 2015, 05:27:42 PM »

Pounded out some Costo prime top sirloin strips - marinated and oak grilled

Made a cilantro, tomatillo, garlic and habanero sauce (my wife calls it crack as it is very addictive)

Served with rice and beans

Muy Bueno

Is there a difference between burritos and fajitas?

A fajita is composed from grilled meats, vegetables, dressings (like guacamole) and eaten by rolling up in warmed tortillas  with bean and rice on the side. Pretty much finger food.
A Buritto is a large tortilla, filled with meats, vegetables, cheese, dressings, beans, and or rice, and rolled up tight.

So technically, Skins could be called a fajita but he wrapped it like a burrito.

We could call it a fajrito. Cheesy

I burrito (little burro) is the wrapping itself the ingredients are not defined other than by what is common. An example would be a breakfast burrito. A fajita uses a much smaller tortilla stuffed by the person eating it and most of the time is eaten folded  Roll Eyes
