Seasoning mine as we speak. With some flaxseed oil.

I was gonna do what Rich did today, season the steel then pizzas! Didn't pan out. The store that usually has fresh dough didn't have any then I wasted 3 hours trying to find my Camp Chef CI Conditioner. No luck.




Steel is seasoning now in the oven with macadamia oil, the only other oil I had on hand today besides EVOO. Saw SIPs flaxseed oil post. Think I'll pick some up when I find it.

FYI - sold out on these guys.  Might try it again next year if there's enough interest.

In the interim, our rectangular grilling steel - Broil King # 69160 is equally badass, though not round.
