What would you like to see in an event?  Here's a good place to throw out ideas.

Maybe some cooking demos

Sell tickets raffling a BSK and/or accessories/Bubba Keg mugs and coolers

Could have a peoples choice cooking competition

Some kind of music would be nice.

Product vendors  rubs, sauces, cast iron products, Temp probe, temp control product demo's and so on

I would like to see Skinsandos there making his Paella creation again.
If you want to meet me, I will be the guy standing beside him with a rather large spoon in hand waiting ...

Everything that Boat-n-BBQ mentioned!

Family oriented if possible (if I can make it down, I would love to bring Carnivore Jr).

Maybe have it near a campground so the out of towners have a choice of camping or hotel.

I don't think you can get away with a single day event as I imagine people wanting to do pork butts and briskets, which take time to prepare and cook. And a seperate day to recoup ...   Roll Eyes

Maybe start it out the night before with a simple meet (meat) and greet somewhere...

Having as much equipment/accessories already there would be great for people travelling in (less items to pack and haul) like utensils, coolers, ice, etc.. (I can't imagine crossing the border with a vehicle full of large kinives and coolers full of meat, etc)  Shocked

Like other events, perhaps have new BSK's there for people to cook on and experience (great for BKCG owners to try low and slow on BSK), raffle them off or sell them at a discounted price after (same as tents)

Having Keg related products available (pop-up tents, t-shirts, aprons, oven mitts, tongs, bubba mugs, coolers)

This is a perfect venue to have everyone try the new branded charcoal... (having it available for sale there after for people who do not have it in their area would be great).

Possibly sell tickets to the general public for admittance. This way they can experience the BSK themselves and try some of the great food coming off of it, potentially adding new keggers to the world?

.... dare I mention wanting to see a brand new diffuser kit available for all during this meet??  Roll Eyes

Certainly needs to be family oriented, and the ladies need something to do as well.  However, we still need ice cold ones!
