They are closed minded idiots (did I just say that?? YEP!) and they can't see the usefulness of other types of cookers.

I'll bring my bubba keg. I'll be around since I live here so let me know if I can help out in any way.

For all attending you might want to start making a list of everything you might need.

Stuff like tongs and so on. I'd also suggest you mark whatever you bring witha Sharpie marker so you get things returned to you should they be left sitting around.

I have a couple of outdoor games for activities during the day but I want to add something for one of the evenings. This is something usually done at Christmas parties but I think it would be fun for Kegtoberfest. It's a gift stealing game. I'll explain it but I'm thinking about a suggested price range of spending approx. $15.00 per gift. If you want to and we'll include guests as well, if you want to participate you must provide a gift. Now it's not Christmas so so won't require the gift be wrapped but instead simply put in a brown paper bag.

Here's how it goes.....
All gifts are placed on a table in the middle and everyone playing draws a number from a hat/box or charcoal bag. We start at number one and they select a gift. They open it and we move on to #2 who gets to either steal #1's gift or select from the pile of gifts. If they steal #1's gift  then 1 gets to select a gift again. Then #3 either steals or selects a gift and so on. The person who has their gift stolen can steal someone elses gitf or select a new one.

What do you think? Sound like a fun time?

As for gift ideas, it's got to be bbq related such as sauces, rubs, a utensil, maybe a couple of six packs of beer(yes, that IS bbq related), anything grilling or bbq related.

I think it would be fun. It would be nice if a majority if not all attending participated.

So if you don't bring something you can't participate, right? Cuz there wouldn't be enough gifts to go around.

Correct. It wouldn't be fair to those that bring a gift.
