Ok guys just come up here to sunny manitoba ,I have acres of camping, bring your guns, kegs, booze.Nearest neighbour a mile away, would never even here the commotion.I have a huge swimming hole, the size of 2 Olympic swimming pools, complete with minnows, ducks and other wildlife.Dont over look the fact that our beer ,more expensive yes,but more powerful, would have ya flat out on the lawn in no time.haha just throwing it out there.

I am a major lightweight. I can only imagine the effect of y'alls beer on me. I would probably be hospital bound.  Grin

My grandfather used to go into Canada every year on a fishing trip. At that time you had to stay in Canada for 72 hours to be able to bring liquor back.

One of the main reasons for the trip was to bring back a case of Canadian Club  Grin

One year, my uncle dropped the case taking it out of the car and all but one bottle broke. He wasn't happy  Wink

Forty Creek
We have 40's down here. They are usually filled with beer, malt liquor or distilled urine. Great deal for under 3$.

For those of you interested in attending a "Get Together, how many days would you be up for staying? Initially I was thinking Thursday evening - Sunday checking out by 11:00am on that Sunday. Personally I would get wherever a day before to get things in order.

I'm down with that. I wonder if this thread could be moved somewhere else to get more exposure?

Good with Caj's timeline - I would work off the same schedule (and bring whatever isn't nailed down around here)

Are you still thinking about October? It looks like only a few have said they are down and a kegtogether that does not make. I think the forum issues have been one reason there has not been a lot of response. So maybe when that is fixed....

Just guessing but there's maybe 25 active member here.  Not all will come.  We may only have 10-15?  Not sure?

They are closed minded idiots (did I just say that?? YEP!) and they can't see the usefulness of other types of cookers.
