We are now moving beyond RG's buns into the arena of RG's SWEET BUNS!! Grin

More specifically Cinnamon Rolls.

I was going to make these last weekend but ended up being sick from food poisoning all weekend so I made them today. It was supposed to be for breakfast but it ended being a brunch type of dealio. Dough took forever to rise (initial rise then rise again after slicing before baking). I guess I could've put it in the oven for the rolls to rise since the oven has a "Proof" mode (100 degrees) but didn't think of it until Mrs RG brought it up.

Here's The Dough After Rising And Rolling Out

Brushing The Dough With Real Butter

Generous Dusting Of Brown Sugar And Cinnamon

Rolled Up

Cutting Into Slices

In A Buttered Dish Ready To Bake

Fresh Out Of The Oven

Shalacked With Home Made Cream Cheese Butter Icing

Time To Mow Down!

These will be put in the permanent recipe catalog for sure!

It's not the same dough recipe as the other buns. This one uses milk and another egg and a lot of butter and more yeast. They're quite filling, I only ate one when they were first out of the oven and have since gone back and ate an ugly one (end piece). This is NOT low calorie in any way, shape or form I can tell you that!

Those look fantastic RG, at my extended family events my sister always makes those and my dear 82 year old mom takes the center four from each (larger) pan and takes them home for HER only.

King Arthur is the ONLY flour I've used for a while. It costs more but it's worth it. The goal when you bake, just like cooking in general, is to make sure what you make tastes good. I've used other flours in the past and never got the results that I do with KA. It's good stuff!

Does your bakery have an online store? That picture of the cross section of the roll looks delectable.
