Just bought a BSK 2000.  T/A Appliances told me the 2000 was being discontinued. T/A is owned by OMC so I'm thinking there must be some truth to this. Their price was $559.00.  Some Home Depot stores have a bunch unsold and they price match plus an additional 10%.  Their models also have a C/I cooking grate.
Is there any news here?

Yes Michael, so far.  I don't know if what I was told is true.  I was looking for some verification here not that it really matters from my point of view.  I went to a HD in my area quoting the T/A appliance price in Barrie Ontario and they had 7 2000s in stock from last year.  I ended up buying mine for $503.00 with the additional 10% discount.

On Amazon it is being sold as a discontinued model, so I guess it is true:

Hi Guys,

In case you weren't aware - I work for OMC.  No news here, those SKU's are both Big Steel Keg branded - the 4000 is still likely an InZone Product for that link.

We've rebranded all models to Big Steel Keg brand and changed the corresponding SKU's - old stock vs. new, nothing is truly being discontinued.

Deep breath.

Yes...saw your post on the Mods.  I made my comment.  I've been shopping for a Kamado for awhile before I bought the Keg. I'm happy with my 2000, very happy.
Like I posted this was what I was told by a salesperson for T/A in Barrie.  Their discount certainly worked for me. Smiley

I think you mean rebranded to Broil King Keg.  Frankly, I never understood why you had the two names.  Of course, there are lots of things I don't understand.   Cheesy

And yes, Broil King Keg.  I get confused.
