This was a request and worth having it is much better and fresher tasting than packets
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (I use ancho) 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon ground oregano cayenne pepper (to taste)
This is for 1 lb of meat and 1/2 cup of water (I use beer) Brown meat drain off fat add beer and seasoning and simmer for 10-15 min

Sounds likea good one, Skins. I've got it saved for future reference. I'll put an early vote in for the Non-Keg Recipe section (don't want to lose track of this one). Or the regular Recipe section-- whichever is more appropriate. BakonG

Looks like a keeper, and quite close to my recipe (got this thing about not using cornstarch in mine ... for no good reason).
Great thought on the ancho, I'll have to try that in mine.

Thanks, Skins - This is just a great recipe to add to my collection! Anything other than the packaged stuff.

I used this with a pound of ground chicken last week for taco salads. It's great, thanks for posting Skins.
