Veggie cheese bacon chicken if it had pasta I could enter it in the May throwdown - these are really good Stuffing Grill 3 breast or 6 thighs (salt and pepper) to temp shred chicken meat 1 can of campbells cream of mushroom soup (condensed) 2 tbs of Hidden Valley Ranch dressing 2 tbs Dijon mustard 2 cups steamed broccoli 3/4 cup of cheese (I use cheddar & edam mix) Salt, pepper and spices of your choice (I sometimes add curry powder) Add ins I use - sauteed mushrooms, crisp bacon but use anything that sounds good Thaw two pre made sheets of puff pastry place sheets on parchment paper - place an ample amount of the stuffing in the center of each sheet Brush edges with egg white and water wash join the 4 corners at the top of the puff pastry packet work the 4 seems closed Cut 4 vents (1 in each panel) Brush the whole packet with egg white wash Keg diffused on pizza stone at 400-425* for about 30 min - it is ready when the puff pastry is crispy brown (all the stuffing is pre cooked) (http://i965.photobucket.com/albums/ae132/SkinsandOs/DSCN1412.jpg) (http://i965.photobucket.com/albums/ae132/SkinsandOs/DSCN1415.jpg) (http://i965.photobucket.com/albums/ae132/SkinsandOs/DSCN1420.jpg) Title: Re: Daughter's Favorite Post by: Cajunate on May 11, 2011, 06:38:59 PM I can see why these are her favorite. Title: Re: Grilled Chicken & Veggies in Puff Pastry - The Daughter's Favorite Post by: Hanger1 on August 01, 2011, 09:37:23 PM Hey I would like to add my recipe as follows:
Grilled Chicken Adobo Ingredients * 1 1/2 cups soy sauce * 1 1/2 cups water * 3/4 cup vinegar * 3 tablespoons honey * 1 1/2 tablespoons minced garlic * 3 bay leaves * 1/2 teaspoon black pepper * 3 pounds skinless, boneless chicken thighs Directions 1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, and lightly oil grate. 2. In a large pot, mix soy sauce, water, vinegar, honey, garlic, bay leaves, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, and place the chicken into the pot. Reduce heat, cover, and cook 35 to 40 minutes. 3. Remove chicken, drain on paper towels, and set aside. Discard bay leaves. Return the mixture to a boil, and cook until reduced to about 1 1/2 cups. 4. Place chicken on the prepared grill, about 5 minutes on each side, until browned and crisp. Serve with the remaining soy sauce mixture. Will definitely give them a go. It's been a while since I've been on, great forum, and some great ideas. ;D Gee |
