Man, voting in this th'owdown was as tough as any of them! After looking at entry #1, I just knew that's the one I was gonna vote for... until I looked at entry #2... and entry #3... etc., etc.  ???

Just one of these times, can't we just vote for all of them and have done with it :D ?!? You guys are just making it too tough on us poor voters. Have a heart!

Seriously good looking entries, every one.

Are you guys kidding me  :o. Way to step up guys these are awesome. I just had a really bad week, then I didn't get an entry in, and to top it all off the superbowl party that I went to didn't have anything close to any of these cooks.

I had to bust out the dictionary to understand entry #2.
And I think entry #4 was attacked by the Viking Boat from the previous throwdown ...  ;D

WOW Great job to all!!  This was really tough.  I ended up going for what I think of as "superbowl food".  Some of the others would definately get my vot in a different throwdown, just didn't see them as "superbowl" dishes.  Again Great Job everyone.  And if there is any of that porterhouse left over, I'll take some!! ;D ;D

Seeing these entries is bad enough. If I could smell it, I would have to fire up the Keg! But I'm afraid I would disappoint myself in comparison.
Congrats to whoever wins, and thumbs up to all who posted entries.

Another incredible throw down, guys... I didn't enter as it was somewhat of a "potluck" here at BirdNerd Central and I cooked simple beef and turkey sliders on the keg. The other folks brought a bunch of other stuff (non-kegged). Glad to see that we've expanded beyond the 6 word description limit!   ;D

If you think these descriptions were hard to understand, wait till you see my post of the menu from "The French Laundry" that I'll post to the "non-keg discussion" forum (didn't eat there myself but had relatives who did)... Wow

I wonder who will be the victim of the bubba board sticky finger voting scandal this time...

Whoever has number 6 either never uses their upper grate or they have a brand new keg.  Mine looks more like number 5.

Dont be afraid to post your cooks.  Sometimes I even post the bad ones because someone here will be able to tell me what I did wrong so I get it right next time.  Everyone starts somewhere and this is a great palce to learn.

Post up some pic.  Watch out because it is kind of fun.  Your family will only think your odd for taking picture of food for a while.   ;D ;D

Family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, passing golfers, your therapist, the local pharmacist...Wait those are all mine that think I'm odd already.  ;D

Don't worry about posting up what you did and even ask for ideas if you get stuck with something.  We won't judge....well we may vote but we don't judge.  :)

You should go for it and post something up. We all enjoy seeing what the kegs produce. I will almost guarantee that if you post up once, you will be a regular poster.

Damn with all the votes of confidence, I should have taken a picture of the prime rib I cooked Monday night. It sure seamed easy to do on this grill. Did the 3232 as suggested and it was quite tasty. Had some cooked cabbage and buttered bread with it.

I recently tried a new recipe for this cabbage. Came out quite good.

Take one slice of bacon and fry up. When done do not toss grease. Crumble bacon into same pan.
Add half to 3/4 chopped up head of cabbage with a fourth to half of an onion.
Season with salt pepper or what ever else to your liking.
Add 1 packet of sweet-n-low ( I did less than this because one packet seemed too sweet the first time i did this)1/4 to 1/2 worked better for me.
Pour in about 2 maybe 3 ounces of water and dash of evoo.
Cook covered stirring often for about 7 minutes.
Add 2 or 3 tables spoons of Balsamic vinegar and some butter.
Cook a little longer but don't exceed 14 min max. You want the cabbage to still have a little crispness.

I never used to like cooked cabbage but, I really like this stuff. Cooking cabbage will stink up the house a little. NOT using an aluminum pan will help.
